Description: This painting expresses love and admiration towards the new place that I call home. The beautiful colors, textures, and variety of environments simply shattered my preconceptions of New Mexico the first time we lived here and since then I’ve been fascinated with what the land of enchantment has to offer. I specifically love the seamless relationship between rock formations and trees. The dynamic and sturdy mesas and cliffs seem to make an unlikely home for vegetation at first glance but the greenery finds a way to grow and flourish nonetheless. The balance of relationships in the natural world never ceases the amaze me.
