Description: This limited edition print represents the pinnacle and end stage of a wheat grain. It expresses the blades of grain in a process of flexing its fruit and ultimately dying. I'm interested in the space in between peak maturity and death. The fruit of a single process morphing into another process. It mirrors the shedding of one's skin, dictated by many environmental elements. Parts of us need to die off in order to let another in. I find this lesson important for growth to happen. Whether it's a physical, psychological or emotional process, nature reveals how normal it is to allow for change to happen.
